I chose to find out more about the topic "great white sharks" at the website www.geocitites.com. Here are the three facts I found: A big meal can satisfy a great white for two months;a sharks scales are rough [like sand paper];and in a great white attack they will bite their prey, let it bleed to death, then eat it.
Three great reasons why I hope to never meet a Great White Shark! It is fascinating though that such a large animal can live on just one large meal for 2 months. Ellie, have you ever seen a shark in real life? I remember going to the aquarium in Chicago when I was about your age and seeing a Hammer Head shark for the first time. Something about sharks and how dangerous they can be has always caught my interest. I do not think I will ever be interested enough to actually swim with sharks though!
i did a report on the goblin shark while i was still reading the book
Awesome Symone! Did you type your report up? If so, are you able to put it on here? If it is easier, you can either email it to Mrs. Beran or to me at kendraneff@yahoo.com We would LOVE to read what you discovered!
I am late blogging because I was up at my cabin. I find a cool website. The website is www.kidzone.ws/sharks/ and it has shark facts, shark pictures and more so I would go to this website.
Gabe,
How was your time up at your cabin? Any fun stories to share? Awesome website on sharks! There are a lot of great things to read and do on that site. Did you find anything on there about sharks that surprised you? Thank you for sharing what you found!
