I thought it would be nice to have an area where we could just chat! I am curious to what you have been up to so far this summer! I have been walking my dog a lot, spending time with friends/family, and keeping my house in order. Let us know what you have been up to!
I have been playing softball most of the time playing with my dog and going to the boys and girls club.
Hey, This summer I have also been spending alot of time with family and friends. I got to swim in our pool. My family and I are going to my cabin for 1 whole week. We are going to see my aunt and my little cosin.

Sounds like you are keeping busy with all your summer activities. What team do you play softball with? Do you have a position you like playing the most?

I bet you are fish in water! Swimming was a favorite activity when I was a kid, too. What an fun time you will have up at your cabin spending time with your family!
My heart is sad and will be for a long time, but I am also smiling and looking forward to the things in life that make me happy. Seeing you and your family was one of those things that made me happy, and it made me realize that teaching you all again in 5th grade is going to be good for all of us!

It has been great to see you being so consistent on this blog! Mrs. Beran actually just left for a vacation today! I'm sure she'll have lots of stories to share from her trip. Be sure to ask her in the fall! What about you? Have you been on any trips this summer? When I talked to Mrs. Beran the other day she sounded like she was doing well. She was busy getting ready for her vacation, but sounded good. : ) You all are lucky to have such an awesome teacher!
hi everybody,
I have been very busy i mean going to basketball camp in illinois. Also i have been going to day camp everyday, and i went to my cabin and i learned how to water ski yea!!! Also i went to another basketball camp at the La Crosse center and it is called COACH Z's HOOP CAMP and there is a t-shirt design contest, you have to make a design and enter it and i won and it will be next years t-shirt design. Well about a month or so and we wil be in school again as fith graders YEA!!!! But i do love summer i am not ready for it to be cold yet! Also i like fall to because it means my birthday is getting closer!!!!!!!

I feel the same way you do, I wish summer could last just a little bit longer. I enjoy having the time to hang out with family and friends to do fun activities. During the school year there never seems to be as much time to just hang out. Although, during the school year there are not many of those moments when you are bored with nothing to do. It can be nice to be busy.

Will you come back this year to north woods and teach the class the zumba dance with the pink panther? I have the song and the dance in my head. You are the best zumba and spanish teacher i could ever have!!!

Just so you know, you can only use my first name when we're at the YMCA.
I don't know what I will be doing this fall. I do know that I will be a substitute teacher, but I do not know at what schools. Hopefully I can come to North Woods and see all of you again soon! If there is an indoor recess when I am subbing then we can do Zumba. How does that sound?
How was open house? Did any of the rest of you go? Any fun stories from that, or from your summer? Only 5 more days until school starts! Exciting!
