July 6-12: Read Chapters 1-3

After reading the first 3 chapters of this book, you will realize this kind of reading is very different from Skinnybones. There is a lot of information on the diagrams, pictures, and journal entries. Describe some of the most interesting facts you learned about sharks so far.

I would have to say that the most interesting fact I've learned so far is that there are more than 300different spieces of sharks. I never could have guessed there are that many!

Wow! Great job at finding facts about sharks! Sharks certainly are really interesting animals! I would have to say that the most interesting fact that I found was that hunting sharks have rows of teeth. It's amazing that these rows of teeth move forward when the ones in front need to be replaced! No wonder their bites are so dangerous!
