June 15-21 Posting Area
You are well into the book and ready to post for Chapters 5-8! Have you ever tried getting out of something you didn't want to do like Alex? Also, predict what will happen at the game?

Yes I can relate to that. I hate doing my chores so I tried to get out of it by faking that I had a fever but my mom took my tempature and it was normal. What I predict is going to happen at the game is that Alex is going to lose.
I probably have but at the moment I can't think of anything. And what I predict is going to happen is that Alex is going to make a complete fool of himself.
I tried to not take a shower by stalling and I got in trouble so I took a shower. I predict that Alex's team is going to lose or nobody's going to show up because T.J.'s team is very good.
I tried to sleep in so I don't have to go to tennis because I don't like it but my mom woke me up so I was not going to be late. I think that Alex is going to lose.

I think every kid has tried that, so we can relate to Alex.
